Keep my name and number in case that changes. For all those who have used the same guy or gal or company "just because"... Evaluate that decision. Do they answer the call when you need them? Do you and you buyer get updated regularly? Do they offer fast, clean, professional loan service from Pre-Qualification to closing? Is the closing on time? I strongly respect loyalty and more times than I can count have backed off when I found out that another person has started working with a client. I ask them are they unhappy or unsure? Is the client telling the person whom they are working with that they need more (or better ) information to continue? If it isn't working I certainly will help, just as you would. I have a realtor friend who approached me because he has a future listing (next year) and he asked if I could help the home owner with their credit. They will be moving to a smaller home in the next year. The realtor's hope was that I could guide them by correcting their credit and then "maybe" they would qualify for a loan. I said I would be happy to call them and did so as soon as I returned to my office. The owner was at nearly 6% on their mortgage and drowning in expense.
